Car Buyer's Bill of Rights Guide
In 2005, Assembly Bill 68, known as the “Car Buyer’s Bill of Rights,” was signed into law. The bill requires California dealerships to offer a contract cancellation option agreement on certain used vehicles, sets caps on finance reserve, creates new F&I product and credit score disclosure requirements, and places limitations on use of the term “Certified.” This guidebook is divided into four chapters that help dealerships comply with these new laws.
Chapter 1 – The Law’s Requirements
Chapter 2 – Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Chapter 3 – Examples of New Forms
Chapter 4 – Exam for Self-Certification
The Price for the “Car Buyer’s Bill of Rights Guide is $35, including shipping and handling.
